Fortnite – The Quickest Way to Get to Champions in Arena
If you are looking for the fastest way to reach the Champion League in Fortnite Arena, then here’s how.
What makes Fortnite special is the amount of variety it offers. It has different game modes to cater to a number of players depending on their playstyle, so depending on whether you are a more casual gamer focusing on gaining items for the Fortnite item shop, or completely competitive who uses features such as Fortnite Tracker to keep up to date with their stats, there is plenty to go around from the Battle Royale title from Epic Games.
What is Arena?
If competitive gaming is more your thing, then Arena is a place that you will feel most at home. Essentially, Arena is a competitive gaming mode in Battle Royale, which gives you the opportunity to choose to play Solo, Duos, Trios or in Squads. There is a points system called Hype which are awarded to you for getting kills or for placement. Siphon is also enabled in this mode.
The previously mentioned points system will decide your League in the Arena. Obtaining a certain amount of points can also help you earn a position in competitive competitions if you want to take your game further.
How to Reach Champions in Arena
Without a doubt, there is a lot of grind to get over in order to hit Champions in Arena. It is something that gets more and more difficult over time, with players having to adapt to the ever-changing battlefield strategies to get to the highest peak. Thankfully, the point structure stays the same whatever your rank may be, but it does cost more to get into the games as time passes.
Placement Thresholds
There are four different placement thresholds to consider in Arena. Reaching the top 25 will score you 60 points, the top 15 scores you 30 points, as does the top 5. Victory Royale meanwhile also scores you 60 points, with each elimination earning you 20 points.
To reach the Contenders level, you don’t have to pay any entry fee, or ‘bus fare’. This is waived so that getting to this stage is fairly easy. It is after you hit this milestone where things start to get a bit more difficult.
Reaching Champion League
Getting beyond Contenders is hard because you begin to lose points to pay bus fare. This starts off with a deduction of 10 points, which rises to 40 points by the time you reach Champions. With that in mind, you need to make sure that you are focusing on the amount of points that you are gaining. This means that you are going to have to do your absolute best to survive.
In order to do this, the best advice to take from this is to make sure you are finding a balance between picking your battles and killing as many enemies as you can. The latter is what you should be focusing on to start with. That means don’t let your teammates hog the glory by killing all of the bots. You need to make it your goal to personally eliminate as many opponents as you can to help you climb up the rankings.
Once you have gotten to around the Division 7 mark of Contenders, this is where you should maybe take a step back. It gets much harder from here, so you will want to take a more passive approach. This circles back to our initial advice about picking your battles, as you are going to want to be more focused on placing as high as you can, at the very least getting into the top 25 to secure those points. This may be a difficult task for you to adapt to since you have probably spent the majority of your time killing everything in plain sight if you have followed our advice so far. But in the latter stages of reaching Champions we would urge you to survive for as long as possible.
Reaching this level in Arena is just one aspect of the Battle Royale game that has taken the gaming world by storm since its inception. If this is the way you want to go, be sure to keep an eye on your Fortnite stats to see how you are progressing. You can do so with resources such as a Fortnite Tracker, which can be a great way to see how you are performing throughout your playtime.
