PLAYPLAYFUN'S IMPRESSION ON ACCU:
When the developers that are responsible for Circle Brothers contacted us to review and promote their next game, Accu, there is no doubt that we are excited to find out what their new game is all about!
Jakoma keeps the minimalist theme in Accu much like in Circle Brothers. However, Accu is missing the personality and cute simple storyline that made Circle Brothers to be a great game.
Having said that, it does not mean that Accu is not fun. Accu takes the accuracy game genre like Loading bar game and add another dimension to it. Accu features collectible characters and gameplay variation that will not only test your accuracy, but also your reflex with the timed circle.
There are three points that I feel the game can improve. Firstly, it would be nice to have introductions, like a mini-tutorial, to the different gameplay varieties. Secondly, a way to redo your shot would be nice as I find myself looking this functionality once in a while. Finally, the timed reflex seems to be bugged and the timer runs out too fast, at least on the browser version.
Overall, Accu is a fun and challenging game. Playing it with a mouse added a little bit more challenge in terms of accuracy. I would suggest players to try the app version to access touch control and take advantage of the leaderboard feature.
Update: Thanks to the developer, you can now use the SPACEBAR button to play the game!
